Meru National Park is ideal for travelers searching for something off the beaten track. The park is one of the most scenic parks in Kenya with Mt. Kenya visible in the far distance. It has unbelievable sunsets over nearby Nyambeni hills. It is also known for its elephant herds and the rare Gerenuk antelope.

The 3-days safari highlights include the Former home of Joy and George Adamson, Adamson waterfall, the grave of Elsa the lioness, Game Viewing, bird watching and stunning views of Mt Kenya, fishing among other activities.

Day 1: Nairobi – Meru National Park

Our Driver-guide will pick you from the airport or hotel at 8:00 am drive north to Meru National Park. You will be able to enjoy great views of Mt Kenya region, with her fertile, Green vegetation. You are set to arrive at your camp in time for lunch and afternoon relaxation. After some time at rest embark on your first Safari Game drive at 4:30 pm allowing you to see the wonderful creatures that populates the park. Brilliant on a magnificent scale, the Meru and Kora sister parks feature luxuriant jungle, coursing rivers, verdant swamp, khaki grasslands and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky’s great blue bowl. Little visited and utterly unspoiled, few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. Visitors can see Grevy’s zebras, elephants, Bohor reedbucks, hartebeests, pythons, puff adders, cobras, buffaloes and more than 427 recorded species of birds.Return to the camp by evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day at Meru National Park

The day will start with breakfast at the camp and then leave with a picnic lunch for an extensive game drive. Explore the part with your guide with a visit to Murera River and Ura River to see crocodiles, watch birds, and hippos; visit Adamson Falls as well as the former home of Joy and George Adamson. Have your picnic lunch and continue with the game drive till evening. Just to mention some of the animals that you may see in this park: Herds of Elephant, Herds of Buffalos, Black and White Rhino, Leopard, Cheetahs, Waterbuck, Bush Baby, Giraffes, Zebras, Hyena, Impalas, Kudu, Wild dog, Baboons, Vervet Monkeys, among others; later, return to the camp for your dinner and overnight
