Tour itinerary
Expand allDay 01: Nairobi National Park and Giraffe Centre
Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Nairobi National Park. Upon arrival at Nairobi Park gate before 6:00 am, follow the check in formalities and start your game drive across this extensive city park in search of lions, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, buffaloes, black rhinos, jackals and many other wildlife and bird species.
At around 10:30 am, drive to the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage where you will have a close encounter with baby elephants being fed. You will also get to learn more about conservation and you can even choose to adopt a baby elephant. At 12:00 noon drive toward the exit gate to the place where the tour guide has organized a lunch stop for you.
In the afternoon after having your lunch and bit of relaxation, you will embark on an afternoon tour to Giraffe center. At the Giraffe Centre, you will be introduced to the mission of the center and the Rothschild’s giraffes. You can feed these majestic animals from a raised platform, which is a memorable and interactive experience. Afterward, explore the educational exhibits and take a walk along the nature trails to learn more about the giraffes and their conservation.
Late in the afternoon you will drive back towards the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.
